Ryan Stone Laite was born April 10, 2008 at 4:30 pm. 5lb 10 oz and 19 inches long. In my opinion, a good size for a premature baby. After a 10 day stay in the NICU at Mission hospital in Asheville, we brought him home last Sunday. It has been an emotional and tiring experience, but I wouldn't change a thing. Ryan has changed my life in ways he will never know. Jen is doing very well, and is adjusting to motherhood gracefully. We don't have many pictures of Ryan with his eyes open yet, he sleeps most of the time. Keep in mind, he still hasn't reached full term gestational age.... his projected due date was May 22nd. Handsome is as handsome does!! He certainly is a "keeper". If he is anything like his Dad he will grow to match his name. We are all so proud of you and Jen here on the home ranch. Our positive thoughts and prayers are always with you all. Love, DAD
